SMS GT students participated in the Airport Design Challenge. This challenge was hosted by the Federal Aviation Administration & Aviation & Space Education. The challenge required students to study an airport of their choosing, complete modules & quizzes educating them on airport design & function. Students then created a replica of their airport in Minecraft. A video tour was submitted for judging. Students were awarded a certificate of completion as well as lanyards. Students participated in the virtual awards presentation where the winning airports were announced.
